Kristen M. Shockley
Lab Director
Dr. Shockley is an Associate Professor of Psychology at the University of Georgia. She has a Ph.D. in industrial/organizational psychology from the University of South Florida.
She currently serves as an Associate Editor at the Journal of Applied Psychology and the Journal of Business and Psychology.

She teaches courses in Work-Family, Motivation and Engagement, and Industrial/Organizational Psychology
Hope Dodd
Graduate Student
Hope graduated with her BS in Psychology from the University of Florida. Her primary research interests include work-family issues, quantitative methods, and employee well-being. More specifically, she is interested in how work-family issues manifest differently across various groups of people and how organizations can implement initiatives to improve employees' work and family lives. She is currently involved in a couple experience sampling methodology studies related to work-family attributions and telecommuting.
Ryan Grant
Graduate Student
Ryan received his BA in Psychology from North Central College in Naperville, Illinois. His interests include mindfulness, computational modeling, work-life balance, and flexible work arrangements and how these concepts can be applied by organizations to promote balance so that individuals can live healthy and happy lives. His secondary interests include recovery after work, motivation, and leadership. He is currently working on projects related to applying computational modeling work-family conflict and optimizing the use of telecommuting.
Beth Buchanan
Graduate Student
Beth received her BA in Psychology from Rice University. Her primary research interests include work-family issues, work-related stress, and work recovery. In particular, she is interested in how low-income workers recover from work and manage their work and family lives. She is currently involved in projects involving the experiences of infertility at work and couples' management of their careers and childcare.
Katherine Facteau
Graduate Student
Katherine received her B.S. from Auburn University in May of 2021. Her research interests include employee health and well-being, work-life balance, and relationships at work. More broadly, she is interested in research that focuses on improving the lives of individuals in the workplace and organizations as a whole.
